Peter
Brennan's Jeans 'n Classics
It is a very good thing that Peter Brennan loves to arrange music more than
he does sleep. With over 1000 orchestral rock scores to his credit; and
considering that each of his new Jeans 'n Classics concerts involves more than
300 hours of writing, it's no wonder that performing on stage is almost like
taking a holiday.
Peter Brennan took up the guitar at the age of 15 and played in a variety of
"Beatles-esque" bands throughout his high school years. He went on to the
University of Western Ontario, where he majored in Music Composition and Theory.
He spent the next ten years touring Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean
with various bands and recording acts, as guitarist, arranger, and musical
director.
As a Record Producer, Peter's albums have hit Top 10 Charts as far away as the
United Kingdom. He has received several Producer Grants and Awards and has been
a judge for Canada's Juno Awards.
Peter Brennan's Jeans 'n Classics concerts are now known across North America as
quality entertainment for the Baby Boomer generation. Currently Jeans 'n
Classics performs approximately fifty concerts per season with orchestras such
as Orchestra London, Kitchener Waterloo Symphony and Centre in the Square, Erie
Philharmonic, Cleveland Pops Orchestra, Wichita Falls Symphony, Calgary
Philharmonic and many, many more. Peter can also be seen on stage at corporate
events, musical theatre productions, fundraisers and festivals throughout the
year. At least 100,000 symphony patrons enjoy his Jeans 'n Classics each season
as well as many corporate clients and festival visitors.
The prestigious Jeans 'n Classics family includes such Canadian legends as Roch
Voisine, Rik Emmett, Alan Frew, Lawrence Gowan, Kenny MacLean, Marc Jordan, Amy
Sky, Lorraine Segatto, Gord Deppe and the list goes on, all giving full
symphonic rock performances arranged by Peter Brennan. Peter was thrilled to
recently have the opportunity to work with and write the arrangements for Roger
Hodgson formerly of Supertramp.
